Water is the first opportunity.
Two billion people worldwide still lack access to safe drinking water. In rural Africa, women and children spend up to six hours each day collecting water that is frequently unsafe. These daily struggles rob children of school time, put families at constant health risk, and keep communities trapped in cycles of hardship.
Through the Water For All initiative — a project of the Golden Circle of Giving — Alessio supports the construction of community-centred wells that bring clean, safe and sustainable water to villages. Every well funded through this programme is community-maintained, built with locally sourced materials, and documented with full transparency: photos, GPS coordinates, and impact updates.
Water For All has completed its first two operational wells in Burkina Faso, with further wells currently in progress. When water flows, children go to school. Families cook and clean without fear of disease. Farmers grow crops. Communities grow stronger.
